Fly to Copenhagen + train
Our top pick if you're flying in: land at Copenhagen (CPH) and take the direct train (Öresundståg) all the way to Laholm. You won't need a car; we'll sort the last stretch from the station.
Fly to Gothenburg + rental car
A good alternative is to fly into Gothenburg and rent a car for the drive south. There is no direct train from here, so a car is easiest, and the total journey takes roughly the same time as the Copenhagen route.
Driving & the Øresund Bridge
If you drive from Copenhagen you'll cross the Øresund Bridge into Sweden, which charges a toll (it can get pricey). Some Copenhagen rental firms offer the bridge crossing as an add-on, worth asking when you book. For that reason we suggest the train from Copenhagen, and renting a car only from Gothenburg.
We'll pick you up
Arriving by train? We'll have friends and family happy to meet you at Laholm station and drive you the last stretch to the estate. Tell us how you're travelling in your RSVP (or message us) and we'll sort it out.
